Job Summary :

A well-established not-for-profit organization in Indiana is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join their team. The Psychiatrist will provide high-quality care to individuals in residential and outpatient settings, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities :

• Provide psychotropic medication management for patients in residential and outpatient settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with patients families and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Supervise behavioral health services provided
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications as needed.
• Perform crisis interventions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, medications, and progress.
• Partner with healthcare providers, including primary care physicians and nurses, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Provide training and supervision to staff in therapeutic crisis intervention techniques.
