Pediatrics and Infant Care preferred

Description :

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team.

The facility has 241 licensed beds and provides level 3 trauma care.

It is a teaching hospital and certified as a Chest Pain Center.

The average number of patients per day is around 170.

Will accept first-time travelers.

The patient population includes infants to geriatrics.

Departmental leadership is available for support.

There is 24 / 7 hospitalist coverage.

Virtual critical care is available after hours.

Technology utilized includes EPIC EMR and Omnicell medication dispensing.

Monitors include Masimo.

Unit specific equipment includes Servo I Ventilator, Trilogy Ventilator, Servo Air BIPAP, ABL Blood Gas Analyzers, and Bubble CPAP.

Floating may be required per regional needs.

Travelers will be compensated for travel time between facilities if floating mid-shift.

The schedule includes a weekend rotation every other week.

There is no call requirement.

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.

Requests for time off can be approved up to 6 days, excluding holidays.

Schedule cycles are every 6 weeks.

Scrub color is royal blue.
