About the role :
As our director of nursing, you'll be a key leader in a team committed to delivering exceptional care, building meaningful connections, and fostering a supportive work culture.
The director of nursing plans, organizes, and directs all aspects of our nursing department to ensure the highest quality of resident care, while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
Key responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate nursing personnel, including RNs, LPNs, and nurse aides
- Develop and oversee staffing plans and scheduling
- Establish objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
- Organize and coordinate admissions, nursing care, and patient services
- Develop and implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance and uphold quality standards
- Manage department budgets and monitor expenditures
- Address and resolve issues or deficiencies in operations or care delivery
- Oversee accurate and timely record-keeping and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to streamline facility operations

Requirements :
Nursing degree from an accredited college or universityValid and active state-issued registered nurse (RN) licensePrior experience in a supervisory or director of nursing roleExperience as a registered nurse (RN) in skilled nursing facility (SNF) requiredEqual opportunity employer
