job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location. Conduct screening of personnel, visitors, and / or deliveries to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site integrity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and report potential issues. Document and report observations, incidents, and / or suspicious activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines. Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting the logistics and distribution operations. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Distribution Screening in Mooresville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and team members. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
