Operations Analyst I

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Tallahassee, FL in the Office of Administration, General Service Support Services section.

The mission of the Office of Administration, General Service Support Services section in the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is to provide efficient and effective administrative support services that enhance the overall operations of the Department.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

Job Duties :

• Assists in scheduling and completion of work orders for all Central Office program areas by the Central Office inmate work squad; independently communicates courteously and effectively with all affected parties of inmate work squad projects.
• Submits and ensures completion of work orders and janitorial requests, escalates hazardous environments, and analyzes data for trending issues.
• Completes large volume copy and print and plotter requests and assists with the maintenance and servicing of multi-function printers and copiers.
• Supports daily mail / package transport and mailroom operations, including receiving, sorting, opening, and distributing incoming mail / packages.
• Assists with Central Office fleet issues and special projects.
