Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist with RDCS certification and strong stress echo experience for an outpatient cardiology assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an outpatient clinic setting within a cardiology department
  • Shift is 8-hour days from 8 : 15 AM to 4 : 45 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Duties include conducting echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and handling preliminary reporting
  • Must be able to work independently in a clinical environment
  • Team-oriented approach and a positive attitude are highly valued

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Valid RDCS certification required
  • Extensive EKG knowledge and familiarity required, though EKG certification is not
  • Proven experience running stress echo tests independently and performing preliminary reporting
  • Must be comfortable working in an outpatient setting
  • Strong bedside manner and ability to work well within a team are essential
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • Two clinical references from the last two places of employment, including at least one from a unit manager or director, are required for consideration
  • Detailed previous employment history for the past 7 years is required, including explanations for any employment gaps over 30 days
  • Current skills checklist (valid within the past year) is required
