This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in our preconstruction process-responsible for compiling accurate estimates and proposals for commercial and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments, demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills, and enjoys collaborating with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bidding.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare complete and detailed estimates and proposals for commercial and hospitality construction projects

Conduct project turnover meetings with the project management team following contract awards

Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to understand project requirements

Visit job sites to support estimate accuracy when necessary

Forecast labor, material, and time requirements for each project

Conduct risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis

Review subcontractor and vendor bids for scope coverage and accuracy

Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors

Prepare and maintain supplier / subcontractor directories

Present cost estimates and expenditure reports to upper management

Coordinate multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines

Generate clear, concise bid documentation and proposal packages

Qualifications :

2 years of professional estimating experience in construction preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)

Experience using PlanSwift, ConstructConnect, or similar takeoff and estimating software

Proficiency in Google Suite

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings and documents

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Experience preparing detailed reports and presentations
