Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Full-Time & Part-Time
Location : Cullman, Alabama
Schedule : Full-time and Part-time (day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
About the Role
Direct Support Professionals help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live meaningful, self-directed lives. You’ll provide person-centered support at home and in the community—assisting with daily living skills, transportation, community activities, and goal achievement.
What You’ll Do
Support daily living (meals, personal care, medication prompts per policy)
Coach skills for independence (household tasks, money skills, social skills)
Provide transportation and accompany individuals to community activities, jobs, and appointments (in company vehicles)
Document services accurately and on time (progress notes, incident reports)
Promote dignity, choice, safety, and inclusion in all settings
What We’re Looking For
Minimum : High school diploma or GED; must be 18+
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; reliable transportation to get to work.
Able to pass background check and drug screen
Compassionate, patient, good communicator, and a team player
