TekPro is partnering with a cutting‑edge CNC shop in the northwest Chicago suburbs to hire experienced CNC operators who thrive in a precision, production setting.

Core responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to meet quality and throughput goals.
  • Operate one or more : Swiss CNC lathes, CNC lathes, CNC mills, grinders, or Wire EDM.
  • Adjust offsets and parameters; monitor processes to maintain dimensional accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Finish parts to specification via deburring, buffing, and sanding.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard metrology tools.
  • Execute preventive maintenance routines.

    • Must‑haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC operating experience
  • Proficiency reading blueprints; experience with small, tight‑tolerance components
  • Strong written and verbal communication; basic understanding of lean manufacturing

  • CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)
  • CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
  • CNC Swiss Lathe
