The Patient Care Tech is a multi-skilled, non-licensed health care provider who provides direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments / interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient. Job Requirements : PCT I :
Students ages 16 and 17 can be employed with parental consent as part of High School Health Career Program, High School graduate or equivalent.
BLS within 30 days of hire.
PCT II :
Students ages 16 and 17 can be employed with parental consent as part of High School Health Career Program, High School graduate or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant program graduate with current TN license, Certified Patient Care Technician or certified Medical Assistant with active certification.
Certified Nursing Assistant with current TN license, Certified Patient Care Technician or Certified Medical Assistant with active certification.
BLS within 30 days of hire.
