Job Summary :
Superior Product Distributors, Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to support our equipment delivery operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of construction equipment, ensuring it’s delivered and picked up in accordance with DOT and company safety standards. This is a customer-facing role where your punctuality, professionalism, and communication will directly influence the client experience. The ideal candidate has experience hauling construction equipment, a clean driving record, and a strong safety mindset. Your work will directly impact our revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing rental turnover.
Key Responsibilities :
Transport construction equipment to and from job sites using a CDL A vehicle
Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, branch staff, and customers to ensure schedule accuracy
Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions
Assist in loading and unloading equipment as needed using appropriate tools and safety procedures
Follow all safety guidelines, traffic laws, and company operating procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle
Ensure delivery paperwork, inspection forms, and logs are completed accurately and on time
Qualifications
Valid CDL A license
Clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check
Minimum of 2 years of experience hauling construction or heavy equipment
Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance standards
Ability to safely load, secure, and unload construction equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Excellent time management and punctuality
