Overview Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of Prime membership, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.

Responsibilities Develop ML models for various recommendation and search systems using deep learning, online learning, and optimization methods.

Work closely with other scientists, engineers and product managers to expand the depth of product insights with data, and create experiments to identify high-impact projects for planning roadmaps.

Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field.

Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications PhD, or Master\'s degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience

3+ years of building models for business applications

Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing

Preferred Qualifications Experience using Unix / Linux

Experience in professional software development

About The Team Prime Video Recommendation Science team owns science solutions to power recommendation and personalization experiences on various Prime Video surfaces and devices, working closely with engineering teams to launch solutions in production.
