Sr. UI / UX Front-End Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS and Python.
Code, test, and debug new and / or existing web applications.
Implement and refine user interfaces.
Conduct thorough unit testing via automated tooling.
Collaborate with other team members (internal and external) to ensure optimal performance and usability.
Peer review code written by fellow team members.
Utilize virtualization technologies like Docker and Podman.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline, plus 8-12 years relevant experience.

Experience with modern front-end libraries such as ReactJS and / or Angular, with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for fetching JSON data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write well-documented code.

Must possess an Active Top Secret / SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.

Nice to Have

A genuine passion for creating great user experiences.

Experience with writing front-end unit tests.Experience with writing back-end web API services especially Python.

Experience coding in other languages such as Python.

Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as Elasticsearch.

Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.

Up to date with emerging front-end technologies.

Pay Range

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
