Surgical Technician - West Valley OR

Description

The OR Surgical tech provides superior patient / customer satisfaction, ensuring highest quality care and service. Responsible for assisting the surgeon and other Operative Room staff during a variety of operative procedures. Utilizes age appropriate specific knowledge when providing care for all patients. Demonstrates an expert level of scrubbing knowledge in all surgical services. Demonstrates ability to plan and trouble shoot various complex surgical procedures. (i.e. open heart surgery, micro-neuso surgery, total joint and other orthopedic surgeries). Scrubs for all procedures as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

BLS required

On call weekdays and weekends (rotational) required

Certification preferred
