job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAct as a liaison between Administration and the Medical Staff, ensuring smooth communication and alignment Oversee performance measurement, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and referral management Drive strategic program growth and development as the program expands its reach Take on a leadership role within a clinically active and well-supported Palliative Medicine Program Collaborate with visionary leadership and an expert multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care across Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota Protected time allocated for administrative tasks Support for a collaborative relationship with Aspirus Hospice Occasional weekend coverage (phone only) and inpatient hospice care services Variety of seasonal activities throughout the year, including snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, festivals, farmers markets, theater, and a thriving art scene Lively, farm-to-table, community-sourced dining scene A normal commute is 10-15 minutes from any part of town High-performing school districts in the area with over 60 schools, public and private, to choose from Close proximity to Central Wisconsin Airport with direct flights to O'Hare International Airport, Minneapolis - Saint Paul International Airport, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport

Aspirus Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Palliative System Medical Director.
Lead the planning, organization, and direction of the Palliative Medicine Program by bringing a collaborative, innovative approach to program administration, quality improvement, networking, and community engagement.
OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW :
- Split time between clinical work and administrative responsibilities focused on program development
- Flexible scheduling to promote a healthy work-life balance
- Hospice call coverage 1 : 6 (call only), No palliative care call responsibilities
- Palliative fellowship and experience in Palliative Care / Hospice required
