- This individual will be responsible for providing support for key sport sponsorships across multiple verticals (including sports, culinary, cause and influencer marketing).
- The role will assist in making our sponsorships a success by coordinating and collaborating across the organization, with American's sports agency of record and with our partners.
- This job is a part of the Global Engagement and Marketing team, responsible for global sponsorships and activations within our Global Engagement group.
What you'll do
Support in the planning and execution of brand sponsorships and activationsCollaborate with multiple internal departments, external partners and our agency of record to drive positive brand perception, preference and loyaltySupport activations that creatively blend the established brand presence of our partners with American'sChampion the brand's tone of voice in all marketing assets, including copy and creativeTake ownership of tasks / projects and proactively communicate next steps, timelines and potential issues to appropriate stakeholders including during ambiguous situationsProject manage sponsorship-related campaigns from start to finish and develop ongoing results reportingAct with urgency and model sound strategic judgement to others including department and company leadershipDevelop critical thinking skills by demonstrating the ability to anticipate major issues / obstaclesMake a positive impact on the team, maintain optimistic can-do attitude even when plans changeAbility to work outside traditional office hours including evenings and weekends as neededOther tasks, as assignedAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related area or equivalent experience / training2+ year of relevant experienceAbility to travel up to 20% of the timePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceExperience in partnerships, sports marketing, sponsorships, and / or events with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholdersPrior experience working with outside agenciesKnowledge and experience with planning and executing large-scale events and activationsPrior project management experienceSkills, Licenses & CertificationsCreative, visual thinking skills with an ability to think "outside the box"Strong organization skills and attention to detailAbility to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, under tight deadlines and with excellenceStrong communication, presentation and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationSome analytical and budgeting experience, with a desire to expand skills in this areaExcellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skillsWhat you'll get
