Vacaville Ranch Post Acute has transitioned their therapy department to an in-house model effective May 1, 2025 to better serve their residents and provide meaningful and enjoyable work environment for their therapy staff.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist or a new grad in their Clinical Fellowship Year to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals of varying ages, primarily focusing on adults, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. You will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for your patients through tailored therapy plans and early intervention strategies.
- Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to address specific needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
- Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
- Experience or knowledge in early intervention strategies for pediatric patients is preferred.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and the development of tailored therapy plans.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for providing high-quality patient care and improving communication outcomes for individuals with speech disorders.
Pay : $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
