Full Time, Live Out, Nanny

A family of five in Boston is seeking to hire a full-time Nanny to care for their three children, ranging from an infant to kindergarten age. Responsibilities include monitoring developmental milestones, reading and engaging children in educational and age-appropriate activities, organizing playdates, attending classes, preparing healthy meals, bottle feeding, diapering, cleaning bottles and toys, maintaining sleep and feeding schedules, and child-related housekeeping and laundry. Licensed drivers and capable swimmers are a plus, and full vaccination is required.

The primary care will be for the infant, taking over from the baby nurse who will be with the family until the end of October when the baby is 6 months old. The two older children, who are in school five days a week, will typically be home in the afternoons. The family plans to spend much of the summer in East Hampton, NY, and would prefer (but not require) someone who can join them there. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 6 pm or 8 am to 6 pm, with occasional late nights. The start date is ideally late June or early July in East Hampton, or September 2 if preferred. Salary ranges from $33 to $38 per hour, plus a monthly health stipend.
