JOB TITLE : Speech-Language Pathologist
JOB CLASSIFICATION : Full time or Part time
REPORTS TO : Executive Director
JOB PURPOSE : Evaluate consumers and provide speech and language therapies for consumers. Supervise therapy assistants, students, and volunteers as needed. Write evaluation reports and individualized treatment plans for people served and measure progress on goals. Design, implement, and train program staff to implement tasks for treatment, design treatment activities as a team, lead groups and activities, and measure progress / evaluate the program's effectiveness, consumer satisfaction, and quality features. Oversee completion of required documentation. Work with physicians on treatment plans and patient needs. Lead projects and handle staff assignments for services provided by the team, such as adaptive equipment services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Graduate of an accredited school of speech-language therapy / pathology. Missouri license for speech-language pathology. MANDT crisis intervention certification, CPR certification, and first aid training required. (these trainings will be provided upon hire along with required agency trainings).
