About The Position
Weekly Pay $56.67 / hour - Physical Therapist at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, OKC
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a 36-bed inpatient rehab hospital.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs focusing on improving mobility, strength, endurance, and independence.
- Treat patients recovering from strokes, amputations, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical issues.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, nurses, physicians) for comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology, including EksoNR robotic exoskeleton and REAL VR systems.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility practices.
- Monitor and document patient progress using UDS ProDoc EHR, updating care plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Typically manage a caseload of approximately 6 patients per shift.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications (PT license, CPR / BLS).
- Preferred : 1+ year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care; background in orthopedics and neurorehabilitation is a plus but not required.
