Description\nState of Idaho Opportunity\nIdaho Division of Veterans Services – Caring for America's Heroes\n\nThis position will be posted until filled.\n\nThe Idaho Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse Senior at the state-of-the-art Post Falls Veterans Home. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and motivated to provide exceptional care to our Veterans.\n\nStarting wage : $43.33\n\nShift Differential : 10% for nights\n\n12-hour shifts, 3 days per week\n\nResponsibilities : \n\n

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, implements and monitors resident health problems and care related issues.\n
• Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure all care needs are met.\n
• Administers medications and treatments per provider orders.\n
• Assigns, directs and evaluates LPN and CNA staff in care delivery on assigned shift. Work responsibilities may involve one or more of the following areas : \n
• Planning, conducting, and organizing clinical training sessions for agency staff.\n
• Coordinating and maintaining liaison with other health agencies.\n
• Monitoring of staffing and scheduling throughout the facility.\n
• Conducting on-site Medicaid reviews.\n
• Performing other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n\n
• Licensed as a Professional or Registered Nurse in Idaho as defined by Idaho Code 54-1408 OR\n
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418, in one of the following compact states : Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin.\n\nExperience : \n\nPerforming nursing assessments and developing and implementing nursing care plans.\n\nClearance : \n\nThe Idaho Division of Veterans Services requires applicants to pass a criminal history background investigation after a conditional offer of employment.\n\nBenefits : \n
