(USA) Tire & Battery Technician - Automotive

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member : Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert : Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; utilize POS systems, phones, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie : Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and increase engagement; operate handheld technology for business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others.
• Be an Owner : Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage inventory, safety, and compliance; process transactions; assist members with purchases; resolve issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador : Promote high-quality service and products; develop and inspire team members; value member experience.
• Follow company policies, ethics, and standards; complete work efficiently; communicate progress; seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the local minimum wage.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Must successfully complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time frame.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
