Maintenance Worker I (Possible)

Job Summary

Reports To : Director of Facilities and Maintenance

Salary : Based on salary schedule for 235 days (8 hours / day).

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Evaluation : The performance of this job will be evaluated per provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of personnel.

Qualifications :

• High school education or GED.
• Should be dependable, able to get along with people teachers, principals, and patrons.
• Must be able to plan and organize his work and the work of his staff and to supervise the efforts of his staff in the proper housekeeping of the plant.
• Must complete a criminal background check through the Alabama State Department of Education at your own expense.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
