Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Producer located in Buffalo, NY. The Producer will be responsible for managing editorial content, developing story ideas, and coordinating with the news team for accurate and engaging broadcasts. Day-to-day tasks include scriptwriting, video editing, and overseeing live reports.

Qualifications

• Strong editorial and story development skills, including the ability to generate and develop compelling news stories
• Excellent scriptwriting and video editing abilities
• Experience with live reporting and coordination with news teams
• Familiarity with broadcast production equipment and software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role within a news organization is beneficial
