Software Test Engineer, Embedded Product Security

Job Description

If you are a Test Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will design and implement software test systems to verify and validate product security capabilities in world-class safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation used throughout the industrial automation and control industry.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Work as part of a team to design, implement and execute both manual and automated product security tests.
• Research and develop custom product security test tools.
• Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and test implementations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
• Provide technical support for test stations and tooling.

Our compensation philosophy is simple : we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $90,000-$125,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
