Customer Service Associate
A Penske Logistics Customer Service Associate monitors delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and products to customer locations. Manage time sensitive information and transactions to ensure on-time delivery by tracking shipments for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary. Candidate must have proven communication with a strong focus on internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Shift : Monday thru Friday 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm
Major Responsibilities
Qualifications
At least 1 year of customer service experience required
Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred / High school diploma or equivalent necessary
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast paced environment
Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
Must also be able to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer owned transportation systems & applications
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
Ability to work First, Second and Third Shift as needed. Flexibility with scheduling required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
