Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for night shifts at a rural critical access hospital, with GE and Toshiba ultrasound experience required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a critical access hospital in a rural setting
  • Position is for the General Ultrasound department
  • Night shift schedule : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM (3x12 hours)
  • No on-call required
  • Candidates may be required to float within the hospital as needed
  • Uses GE and Toshiba ultrasound machines
  • Charting is done using EPIC
  • Orientation is biweekly on Mondays
  • Scrub color is flexible; any color may be worn
  • Parking is free with no pass required
  • Candidates who are local to within 50 miles are considered at a lower rate
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least one year and remain in good standing
  • Blocked scheduling is not approved
  • Clinicians may not request timecards from managers during their assignment

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required; 3+ years preferred
  • Strongly prefer candidates with prior travel experience
  • Experience using GE and Toshiba ultrasound equipment is required
  • Valid State or Compact License required if applicable
  • EPIC experience is preferred and required for work in the ER
  • Must provide two professional references from a supervisory capacity within the past two years
  • Copy of COVID vaccination card required, or provide a completed exemption request within 72 hours if applicable
