Tax Analyst Tax Analyst

Position Overview

The Tax Analyst will support the tax compliance and reporting functions of the organization. This role involves analyzing tax data, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. The Tax Analyst will also assist in tax planning and strategy initiatives to optimize the companys tax position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Analyze tax data and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Assist in the implementation of tax planning strategies
  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on tax-related matters
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation and information to tax authorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in tax preparation or analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Nice to have : Knowledge of legal aspects related to tax and familiarity with global tax regulations
