A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIMNEY TECHNICIAN - ESTIMATION

As a Tech - Estimator, you perform all inspections, cleanings, and estimates for customers. You inspect all fixtures to ensure they are in compliance with safety codes and standards. As a chimney technician, you clean and make repairs that may involve masonry and relining work. You also provide customers with timely, accurate assessments and estimates for repairs as well as educate homeowners on how to properly care for their stoves or fireplaces. Following all safety protocols, you handle ladders and other equipment to access roofs. When needed, you also train apprentice chimney technicians, install caps, and help your team in any other way you can. ESTIMATOR AND TECH QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ready to learn and have a career
