Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Operating Room within a Level 2 Trauma Center Care for a diverse surgical patient population including all OR specialties except open heart Shifts are nights, 3x12 hours, from 19 : 00 to 7 : 30 Call required two times per schedule Robotic, ENT, ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro cases involved Uses EPIC for charting; EPIC training provided if needed Floating required within the RN's skillset as needed RNs are expected to float within their skillset to other areas as needed based on hospital staffing Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding open heart Orientation includes EPIC and other facility-specific modules completed pre-start and annually First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are provided by the facility Expect to participate in call and provide coverage for 2 of 3 major winter holidays Locals are accepted at the same rate Holiday scheduling and RTO policies are strictly enforced and changes to approved time off are not permitted after assignment starts Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years recent acute care OR experience Experience with both circulating and scrubbing duties required Robotic and ENT surgical experience required Ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical experience required Ability to work two of the three winter holidays as part of the assignment schedule References required for consideration Former staff must be separated from the health system for at least one year to be eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621160.
