We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, management reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
• Support intercompany pricing processes in alignment with corporate-level policies and guidelines.
• Configure and maintain cost accounting structures and financial systems, ensuring accurate data views and production routings.
• Prepare and analyze core financial documents, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting standards, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct financial analyses to provide actionable insights to various internal stakeholders.
• Perform periodic internal reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial processes.
• Track financial performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Assist in meeting external audit requirements and coordinate with third-party auditors.

Prior big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred

Proven expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and journal entries.

Strong experience in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.

Proficiency in SAP and other financial software systems.

Solid understanding of financial and regulatory audits.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
