Thompson Fabrication, a steel fabrication and manufacturing shop, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Saw Operator job opening. Thompson Fabricating has been providing high quality containers to the waste industry for 30 years.

We are looking for a Saw Operator for a fast paced, assembly line work for our Steel Rolloff container manufacturing facility. This individual must be responsible for cutting all structural steel on saws, tubing, channel, flat bar, round bar, pipe, Etc. On Horizontal Hyd- Mech S-23A- Saw and Vertical V-18APC Saw Operate the End mill, Drill Press and the lathe. Unloading trucks in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

• Ability to cut material needed for production well in advance to needing it
• Knowledge of setting up the saws to automatically make cuts correctly
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be able to read a tape measure for layout purpose
• Ability to use a forklift and overhead crane
• Ability to read and understand the production schedules
• Must be able to work in a Team setting
