Overview
Coalition & Community Development Coordinator for Stark County Government Mental Health and Recovery Board (StarkMHAR) supports suicide and overdose prevention coalitions, sub-committees, and related initiatives. The role involves convening stakeholders, facilitating problem-solving conversations, planning community events for cause, coordinating data collection, overseeing coalition budgets, and ensuring internal and external reporting requirements. The coordinator may also support the development of coalitions in Stark County and host or co-host community events related to suicide and overdose prevention. This position is part of StarkMHAR\'s clinical department and collaborates with staff across clinical and other departments. A strong candidate is people-centered, creative, solution-oriented, and familiar with how social media can influence community outcomes. Purpose
Responsible for administration of suicide and overdose prevention strategies through environmental and community-based processes and information dissemination aligned with coalition activities and grant requirements. Develops and implements outward-facing strategies and activities, and coordinates community strategies related to suicide and overdose death prevention driven by a coalition.

Requirements
The final applicant selected will be required to submit to a drug test for illegal drug use. The test site shall be chosen and paid for by the Board. An applicant with a positive test result will not be offered employment. The applicant will also be subject to any other requirements of Ohio law.
Salary
Salary : $44,885 - $53,300 per year
