Minnesota Certified Coder

A company is looking for a Coder 2 to join their coding team in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Assigns ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCs codes to diagnoses, treatments, and procedures

Extracts information from electronic medical records and enters it into coding systems

Resolves discrepancies in clinical documentation and provides feedback to providers

Required Qualifications

Certificate program in Coding or A.A. / A.S. in HIM with 1-3 years of healthcare experience

1 year of coding experience

Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer software, including Epic and Microsoft Teams

Relevant coding certifications (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
