Role Summary
As an Electrical Engineer , you will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of electrical power systems supporting critical infrastructure including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
This role blends technical expertise, safety leadership, and project management to deliver reliable and innovative power solutions that align with Williams' operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for infrastructure and data centers.
- Integrate advanced technologies like automation, SCADA, real-time monitoring, and energy storage
- Ensure system reliability and personnel safety through arc flash mitigation fault detection , and code compliance
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for new construction and upgrades.
- Manage engineering projects end-to-end , ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Guarantee compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE , and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate across mechanical, civil, and process engineering disciplines for project success.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers , promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering8+ years of experience in natural gas, data centers, or related energy / power sectorsPreferred :
PE (Professional Engineer) LicenseMaster's degree in Electrical EngineeringProject Management experienceExperience with Pre-FEED FEED , or EPC projectsExpertise in PLC HMI , and Instrumentation systems designTechnical Skills
