• Shift : Day shift, 8-hour days (08 : 00 – 16 : 30), 40 hours per week\n
• Shifts per week : 5 shifts per week\n
• Estimated weekly pay : $2400 - $2570\n
• Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents\n
• Charting System : Epic EMR\n
• COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (+ Booster; Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License\n
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification\n
• PALS Certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)\n
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room nursing experience required (3 years preferred)\n
• Experience in Trauma Level I OR required; Trauma Level II preferred\n
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required\n
• Ambulatory OR experience preferred\n
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred\n
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred\n
• Community hospital experience preferred\n
• First-time travel nurses welcome!\n\nKey Responsibilities for Pediatric OR RN\n
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to pediatric surgical patients in the operating room\n
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with a variety of pediatric surgical procedures\n
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergencies\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR\n
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in the OR\n
• Participate in Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedures\n
