Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit at a Level 1 Perinatal Center Patient care includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecologic non-obstetric, and nursery patients 12-hour night shifts with potential weekend and holiday coverage Must be able to work in nursery, labor & delivery, and postpartum settings Uses EPIC EMR system; experience within past 2 years required Schedule requires flexibility including the possibility of working 2 out of the 3 major holidays No block scheduling permitted Responsible for providing care throughout labor, delivery, nursery, and postpartum stages Must be willing to work with a diverse patient population in a busy perinatal center Bi-weekly orientations are available on Mondays Travelers must work at least 2 out of the 3 main winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas / Christmas Eve, New Year's Day / Eve) No block scheduling for any reason Holiday and weekend shift flexibility is required A current New York RN license or proof of application will be taken into consideration for scheduling Requirements Active VT or compact RN license required, or commitment to apply for VT licensure within 24 hours of acceptance AHA BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and STABLE preferred Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience Must maintain competencies in CPR, ACLS, NRP, EMTALA, and Fetal Monitoring Experience required in caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological non-obstetrical patients Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible All season or snow tires are required for vehicles during November–April Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620482.
