Overview

No immediate vacancy, but we are always on the lookout for experienced Survey Pilots to join our aerial flight operations team. Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a Survey Pilot to join our dynamic Aerial Acquisitions team. This position reports to our Chief Pilot and is responsible for flying survey missions. Qualified candidates will have prior at least 1000 total logged hours and 500 multi-engine hours. Priority will be given to candidates who have previous survey experience.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have 1000 total logged hours with 500 multi-engine
  • FAA Commercial, Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
  • Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Willingness to travel multiple weeks at a time and manage expenses for travel

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Survey experience, aerial photography, or LiDAR mapping experience
  • Turbine aircraft experience
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • A&P Mechanic and / or Flight Instructor Certificates
  • BA / BS or MA / MS
  • Current US Passport
  • Willingness to comply with medical screening and / or inoculations that might be required for international travel
  • Willingness to work as a team
  • Experience in a professional environment requiring communication, writing and computer skills and interaction with external clients and internal teams
  • A Pilot that embodies flight safety and the willingness to utilize and learn aerial surveying tactics will be an ideal fit.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment verification and drug screening.
