Base pay range

$23.00 / hr - $26.00 / hr

About The Role

As a Lead Teacher at Merryhill School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children. You will provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolers' natural curiosity, and instills confidence in their innate abilities.

A typical day

Teachers at our school create a warm, engaging, and creative classroom that promotes a curriculum that teaches 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, problem solving, and analysis. A lot of fun between circle time, play time, snack time should be expected.

Employment Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have 12-18 ECE Units
  • Has excitement, joy, and passion for working with kids
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills with kids, employees, and parents
  • Cooperative, supportive, flexible, organized
  • Able to create positive classroom community and build relationships with students
  • Has a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In general, this position requires an individual to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language. This position is regularly required to hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
