  • Setting : Acute care community hospital ED and inpatient consults
  • Patient Volume :

Average daily hospital-based patients : 510

  • No outpatient Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine required
  • Group Size : Solo practice

    • Procedures Required :

  • Lower GI Endoscopy : Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Upper GI Endoscopy Types :

    • With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery or Laser)

  • With Biopsy
  • Therapeutic and Diagnostic
  • With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

    • Additional Information :

  • Onsite Facilities : Lab and X-ray
  • Documentation System / EMR : EPIC
  • Trauma Designation : Not a trauma facility

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology
  • Active Virginia Medical License
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications
  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements promptly

    • Travel and Lodging :

  • Lodging reimbursement per night
