Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Houston, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of current Cath Lab experience

Shift Options : Option 1 :

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday : 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

    • Option 2 :

  • Monday : 6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM
  • Tuesday : 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM
  • Wednesday : 10 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM
  • Friday : 6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM.

    • Certifications :

  • Current AHA - BLS & ACLS Certification
  • Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT-R)
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General Certificate (Texas)
  • Education : Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

    • Credential Requirements :

  • BLS certifications (AHA)
  • Titers (MMR, Varicella, Hep B)
  • TDAP (valid with in the past ten yrs)
  • Current TB skin test or chest Xray.
  • Willing to get Seasonal Flu vaccine by 10 / 01 / 2025
  • Transcripts (highest level of education)

    • Job Duties :

  • Prepare and position patients for procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, X-ray, ultrasound).
  • Assist during procedures (angioplasties, stent placements, etc.).
  • Administer contrast dyes and medications.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes.
  • Maintain sterile equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Document procedure details.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and radiation regulations.
  • Provide post-procedure care and instructions.
  • Mentor and train less experienced technologists.
  • Assist with inventory management.

    • Local Pay 65$ / hr(Below 50 Miles)

    Travel Pay 2816$ / wk
