Physical Security Engineer 3

This Physical Security Engineer 3 is responsible for independently designing and overseeing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the physical security program. The Physical Security Engineer 3 will manage physical security processes that include badge systems, access control, and video management systems (CCTV).

Essential Functions :

• Designs and oversees implementation of physical security equipment including badge, access control, burglar alarm, and video management systems.
• Leads the development and negotiation processes in all vendor contract-related matters including project proposals, vendor selection, statement of work, and bids. Ensure proper quality assurance controls are in place to verify all work performed under contract by third parties.
• Designs physical security technology solutions. Defines bid hardware / software specifications for physical security projects, including those supporting new retail stores and distribution centers.
• Research industry trends and best practices; continuously develop the skills and knowledge necessary to implement effective physical security solutions. Collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders in business units to ensure that delivered solutions are aligned with business objectives.
• Reviews and approves Standard Operating Procedures for all physical security equipment and software solutions.
• Analyzes issues and determines root cause. Completes accurate, timely, and comprehensive reports relative to physical security.
• All other duties as assigned.
