Howard Intervention Center, located in Homewood, IL, is a trusted resource for autism support where families come first. We provide monthly Parent 2 Parent Support Group meetings and Parents Night Out events, offering both guidance and respite for caregivers. Our center is known for delivering comprehensive, high-quality ABA services that empower children with autism and support their families every step of the way.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Howard Intervention Center. The BCBA will design, oversee, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. This role requires collaboration with RBTs, Lead RBTs, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure client progress and success.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessmentsDevelop and update individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plansProvide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to RBTs and Lead RBTsTrain staff and parents on ABA strategies, data collection, and behavior managementMonitor treatment fidelity and client progress through data review and observationMaintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in accordance with BACB and insurance requirementsCollaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to support generalization of skills across environmentsStay current with BACB requirements and best practices in ABAQualifications
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related fieldState licensure (if applicable) and in good standingPrevious experience designing and overseeing ABA treatment plans (minimum 1 year preferred)Strong leadership, coaching, and supervisory skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsCPR and First Aid certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
