Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in an acute care setting, requiring an IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab within an acute care hospital setting
  • Schedule consists of 5x8 hour day shifts with shifts from 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm or 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm
  • Primary environment includes a 2-bed cath lab, 1-bed electrophysiology room, and 14 holding beds
  • Call and standby coverage required, typically 1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend, with occasional weeknight call
  • Charting is completed using Allscripts - Sunrise EMR
  • Responsibilities include supporting high acuity cardiac procedures where door-to-balloon times are under 40 minutes
  • RNs may be assigned to the holding room if census requires
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and NIHSS are required
  • Electrophysiology experience is preferred but not required
