THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY :
Seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Propulsion Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of jet propulsion systems. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting the development of advanced turbojet engines used in UAVs and missile systems.
Key responsibilities :
Design Leadership : Lead propulsion system design efforts from concept through to production, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirementsProject Oversight : Manage propulsion-related projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful deliveryTesting & Validation : Develop, execute, and analyze comprehensive test plans; support validation and certification effortsCross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams for seamless integration of propulsion systemsMentorship : Guide and mentor junior engineers; foster a culture of innovation and technical excellenceContinuous Improvement : Drive technical advancement through process improvements and next-generation propulsion technologiesBACKGROUND PROFILE :
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred10+ years of propulsion or jet engine design experience with a strong track record of successful projectsDeep expertise in propulsion systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aerospace materialsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsStrong leadership with the ability to influence across technical teamsDue to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience in engine testing and validation environmentsFamiliarity with advanced manufacturing processes and materialsKnowledge of emerging propulsion technologies
