About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of current acute care experience required.

License : Active RN license required.

Certifications : BLS-AHA Certification and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.

Must-Have :

Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date.

Weekend requirement : Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month.

Description :

The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg / Telemetry.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6 or 1 : 12 with team nursing.

Charting experience is required; familiarity with Cerner is preferred.

The nurse will be responsible for telemetry monitoring on the unit and potentially remote monitoring.

The role includes patient care tasks such as blood product administration, feeding tube management, and the management of dysrhythmias.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.

A successful candidate will also be involved in code team procedures and rapid response situations.

Candidates must be aware that requests for time off during major holidays will not be accommodated.

Local candidates may be considered under specific conditions.

Requirements for certification and licensure must be met prior to starting the role.

The candidate should be ready to comply with floating policies and possess a thorough orientation to any new unit they may float to.

This is a travel position, and specific compliance guidelines must be followed.

Travel teams related or married cannot work on the same unit.
