Warehouse Worker- Newark, DE

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer / Loader to join our team in a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is essential to ensuring that finished products are packed, loaded, and shipped accurately and safely. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished plastic products according to company and customer specifications.
• Load products onto pallets and trucks using manual or powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Securely wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipment to prevent damage or contamination.
• Regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the entire shift.
• Inspect products for defects, contamination, or inconsistencies before packing.
• Support other warehouse tasks as needed, including unloading raw materials and staging production supplies.
• Help meet daily packing and shipping targets in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a busy warehouse within a plastics manufacturing plant, producing food-grade plastic products such as containers, lids, films, and packaging components. Cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards are critical. This is a physically active role where team members are frequently required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, and operate pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines, and other warehouse equipment. Expect to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift while stacking and organizing products on pallets and in storage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50 / hr.
