As a Security Officer - Financial Center - Full Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a positive atmosphere while you respond to incidents and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Friday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Saturday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policies.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with incident reporting and documentation as needed.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential risks and provide a visible presence throughout the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
