This will be a Part Time role, every other Friday and Saturday. Compensation includes a $5,000 Sign On Bonus. We offer competitive salaries, full benefits package, Paid Time Off, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities
- Interface with the clinical team in decision-making process involving patients, including attending all clinical meetings.
- Assess the counseling needs of the patient.
- Assess the patient for substance abuse diagnosis using DSM criteria and determine the appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria.
- Obtain previous records relevant to the current treatment episode.
- Prepare and provide the substance abuse counseling portion of the patient treatment plan; deliver counseling services specified in the plan.
- Develop the patient discharge / continuum of care plan to ensure movement to appropriate levels of care.
- Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned patients.
- Document all counseling, education services, assessments, referrals, and follow-up in the patient's clinical record.
- Maintain patient caseload and perform case management, utilization review updates, treatment planning duties, and clinical charting as required.
- Coordinate support services for the patient and family and record the services provided.
- Reassess patients and revise the counseling portion of the treatment plan as necessary.
- Facilitate family therapy as assigned.
- Coordinate with referral sources (e.g., legal, school, employer).
- Facilitate crisis-oriented interventions using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Attend team meetings and complete required training in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree specializing in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited college or university as required by the state.Three (3) years' experience in substance use, mental health, or related field.licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state.Counselors must be credentialed under the Department of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) as one of the following : LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, Psychologist, Physician, Advanced Practice Nurse or Certified Nursing Specialist (APRN).Credentialed addictions counselor by a nationally recognized body (examples include LAC, CADAC levels, APIT, ICACI, ICACII, NCAC I / II, MAC, LSW, etc.).Benefits
