What You'll Do

  • Assist Oncology Nurses and Oncologists in providing exceptional patient care.
  • Running bloodwork, assisting with radiographs, creating chemotherapy trays, loading patient rooms
  • Facilitate communication between departments, doctors, and hospital support staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Utilize sound technical skills for treatments, patient diagnostics, and procedures.
  • Maintain patient / client records with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Help manage the daily schedule for the Oncology Service, ensuring patient and client needs are met.
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and AAHA standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to others, sharing specialized knowledge and skills as needed.
  • Anticipated Schedule

    This is a full-time position with the following available schedules :

  • Monday-Thursday : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Please note that some holidays are required.
  • Compensation

  • Starting at $18.00 / hr

    Requirements

    What We're Looking For :

  • At least 6 months of clinical experience or equivalent educational background.
  • Proficiency in small animal handling and restraint techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs (or more with assistance).
  • Physical ability to sit / stand / restrain for up to 60 minutes with proper PPE (gloves, gowns, N95 mask, goggles).
